My hand is quivering as I raise it to my parched lips to take a long drag from a very satisfying cigarette. Feel the sensation as I slowly exhale through my nose. Here I sit in a fold-out steel chair, surrounded by others that are “just like me,”; subdued in this cold, damp basement, locked away for the world to forget.
